1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Coinza, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Platform Description
Coinza is a marketplace for buying and selling collectible coins
All transactions are processed through our secure wallet system
Listings are completely anonymous to protect user privacy
All coins undergo quality inspection before final sale
3. User Responsibilities
Account Security
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Use strong, unique passwords
- Keep your contact information up to date
Listing Requirements
- Provide accurate descriptions of all items
- Upload clear, high-quality photos
- Set fair and competitive prices
- Respond promptly to buyer inquiries
Transaction Conduct
- Complete transactions in good faith
- Ship items promptly after payment
- Use secure packaging for valuable items
- Maintain communication throughout the process
4. Prohibited Activities
Fraudulent Activities
No fake coins, counterfeit items, or misleading descriptions
Illegal Items
No stolen coins, items from illegal sources, or restricted materials
Platform Abuse
No spam, harassment, or attempts to circumvent platform rules
Payment Manipulation
No chargebacks, payment disputes without cause, or fee avoidance
5. Transaction Process
Listing Creation
Seller creates anonymous listing with accurate details
Purchase
Buyer purchases item using wallet balance or PayFast
Shipping
Seller ships item to CoinZA for inspection
Inspection
CoinZA inspects item for authenticity and quality
Completion
If approved, seller receives payment and buyer receives item
6. Fees and Payments
Platform Fees
5% commission on successful sales (deducted from seller payout)
Payment Processing
PayFast fees apply to wallet top-ups (typically 3.5% + R2.00)
Inspection Fees
R50 per item for quality inspection and verification
Shipping Costs
Buyer responsible for shipping costs to CoinZA facility
7. Dispute Resolution
Report Issue
Contact support within 48 hours of receiving item
Investigation
Our team investigates the dispute and gathers evidence
Resolution
Fair resolution based on evidence and platform policies
8. Limitation of Liability
Platform Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
Transaction Risks
Users assume responsibility for their transactions and item authenticity
Maximum Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Grounds for termination include:
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Repeated violations of platform rules
- Non-payment of fees or charges
- Harassment of other users
- Illegal activities or prohibited items
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email and platform notifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by South African law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
